Around Phoenixville
About Phoenixville
One of my favorite things to do in Phoenixville is to stroll through our farmer’s market on an autumn Saturday morning. Founded in 2002 it is located along French Creek under the Veterans Memorial Gay Street Bridge, accessed from Taylor Alley just steps from our office. This producer/grower market is committed to providing locally grown, fresh food; to preserving local agricultural heritage; and to building community. The Market helps support local agriculture by connecting farmers with consumers. You buy directly from the farmers and artisans. The Market offers high quality fruits, vegetables, herbs, flowers, and products such as: breads and baked goods, free range eggs, pasture- raised chicken, cheese, wine, handcrafted soaps and beeswax products. The Market is always family-friendly providing a children’s area and live music by local musicians every week beginning at 10am. I hope to see you there!
