Does the new Medicare Tax of .09% apply to you?
Individual filers making $200,000 or married filers earning $250,000 are subject to a new Medicare tax of .09% on earnings above these amounts and in many cases this is not being withheld by the employer! If this applies to you please call our office to determine if you need to make an estimated tax payment to cover this additional tax.
