Sam Fry is the Chief Operating Officer of our business tax division. Sam is a graduate of The Hill School, and received his bachelor’s degree in economics from The University of Pennsylvania. Sam received his law degree from The Tulane University School of Law, and also received a Master of Legal Letters in Taxation, from The Boston University School of Law. Sam has a substantial amount of experience in the finance, business and tax areas, with emphasis on tax compliance; individual, business, estate, trust, and exempt entity taxation; tax exempt finance, and commercial and non-commercial tax assessment appeals.
An ardent and devoted supporter of the University of Pennsylvania, Sam attends every possible Penn football, basketball, and lacrosse game (following the Quakers to away venues). Sam’s wife, Alison, is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University, and Kent State University (having received a Master’s degree from the latter). “Ali”, a speech language pathologist, is an equally devoted Penn State fan. Sam has three children (Margaret, Alexander, and Christina), and Ali, a daughter (Cass). They currently reside in Macungie.
